Potted player history
Started at Third Lanark before transferring to St. Mirren. Ally MacLeod then moved south of the border to play for Blackburn Rovers. After five years MacLeod returned to Scotland to play for Hibernian, then back to THird Lanark prior to their demise. He finished his playing career at Ayr United, a club he would manage in three separate spells.
Died in 2004 and posthumously inducted to the Scottish Football Hall of Fame in 2015. RIP Ally.
