Joachim Streich, 1978 cup winner for 1. FC Magdeburg. 98 caps for East Germany / DDR scoring 53 goals, making him the top goalscorer of all time in East Germany history. Known as The Gerd Müller of the East. Died in 2022. RIP, Joachim.

The image is based on an original illustration for the 1978 Pokalsieger commemorative pennant that I bought some years ago in Bremen.
